Made with fresh orange, mango, ginger, turmeric, and more to boost the immune system with plenty of vitamins, plus a serving of collagen for gut health. This fresh, citrusy orange smoothie not only tastes refreshing & sweet (like an Orange Julius!), but will leave you feeling great.
If there’s ever been a time to pull out the immune-boosting stops… I’d say the time is now! We’ve been eating clean, drinking lots of water, and keeping up on our supplements. But a drink like this is the perfect boost to add into our day for a pick me up.
I feel better physically after drinking this – energized, refreshed… But I also get a mental boost knowing I’m putting all of the good things in my body!
Carrots, Orange, & Mango: Vitamins A and C, and a little zinc
Turmeric & Ginger: anti-inflammatory superfoods, & ginger is great for soothing the digestive tract
MCT Oil: (or regular coconut oil) helps absorb fat-soluble vitamins
Collagen: great for gut health – which is so important for the immune system!
And my bonus ingredient – cauliflower! It adds a creamy texture, extra B-vitamins, and some good fiber, and you don’t taste it a single bit.
I love a subtle vanilla flavor in my smoothies. To get that, you can go for a vanilla protein powder, or you can just use plain collagen like I do – but add in a dash of vanilla extract. A little goes a long way and emphasizes the sweet, creaminess… and makes it taste like an Orange Julius! (anyone else love those at the mall?!)
Couldn’t end this without letting you know how much Hudson likes these. Holy cow. I have to make him his own, or else I know more than half of mine will get slurped up by him! He’ll literally chase me down for it!
I got a set of these great glass mason jar cups for kids on Amazon HERE that come with lids & flexible non-toxic straws that don’t come out when pulled! Which is a major win, so I can let him carry it around without a smoothie mess.

Orange Immune Boosting Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 medium carrot (or 1/2 cup shredded)
- 1 medium orange peeled
- 1" piece of fresh ginger, peeled
- 1/4 cup frozen mango
- 1/4 cup frozen cauliflower rice
- 2 Tbsp collagen
- 1 Tbsp MCT or coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
- 1-2 cups milk I use half coconut milk, half coconut water
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Start with less liquid and work your way up until you reach the thickness you prefer.
Notes
- Swap 2-3 tangerines for the 1 orange for a slightly different flavor
- Try using frozen strawberries if you can’t find mango – they add some sweet tang and are so good in this!
- Grab my favorite set of glass straws HERE – they’re reusable, clean up super easy by hand or in the dishwasher, and have lasted me years already!
